Indonesian Property Magazine held the 2017 Indonesian Property Award (PIA) night at Ciputra Artpreneur, Ciputra World 1, Jakarta, Tuesday (10/17). The PIA-2017 event, themed A Tribute to Creative Innovation Property Industry, is the highest annual award event as The Benchmark of Property Excellent, which is awarded to a number of Property Corporates, Property Projects, The Property Men & Women and Property Supporting Services. The appreciation is given based on a survey methodology following the criteria of excellence in terms of achievement, innovation, creativity, quality, reputation, and others.
This award is the 5th edition, which was held after the Indonesian economy experienced a downtrend for several years, and in the following year it is believed that it will start to recover. We are optimistic that the property industry will continue to roll towards an uptrend, said Said Mustafa, CEO of Indonesian Property Magazine.

On this occasion, a number of property developers and projects received the PIA-2017 award. Two of them are the 370-hectare Jakarta Garden City (JGC) township housing, developed by PT Mitra Sindo Sukses, a subsidiary of PT Modernland Realty Tbk. on Jl Raya Cakung-Cilincing, Cakung Timur toll exit, East Jakarta, which won an award for the Category: Property Development - Township as The Highly Progressive Township. Meanwhile, the ModernCikande industrial area located in Cikande, Serang, Banten, developed by PT Modern Industrial Estat, which is also a subsidiary of PT Modernland Realty Tbk., won an award for the Category: Property Development Industrial Estate as The Comprehensive Industrial Development in Banten.

The 2017 Indonesian Property Award was received directly by Pascall Wilson, President Director of PT Modern Industrial Estat representing the ModernCikande industrial area and Hyronimus Yohanes, General Manager Marketing of PT Mitra Sindo Sukses representing Jakarta Garden City.

We are grateful to receive another award that will spur us to be more enthusiastic in developing Jakarta Garden City so that it becomes a comfortable, safe area that can improve the quality of life of its residents. Jakarta Garden City continues to grow and its facilities continue to grow. Currently, the number of houses that have been built in Jakarta Garden City is 2,000 units with the addition of several new facilities, said Hyronimus.

Hyronimus said, now is the right time to invest in Jakarta Garden City. The reason is that the land price is still much more affordable but has been equipped with modern facilities such as AEON Mall which will start operating fully on September 30, 2017. In addition, the IKEA retailer from Sweden will also join Jakarta Garden City. Jakarta Garden City is a sunrise property area that is developing and continues to build. PT Modernland Realty Tbk. (MDLN) throughout the first semester of this year recorded revenue growth of 28.8%. Revenue grew from IDR1.11 trillion in the first semester of 2016 to IDR1.43 trillion in the first semester of 2017. Up to the first semester of 2017, it recorded a net profit growth of 833.48%. Net profit grew from IDR26.25 billion in the first semester of 2016 to IDR245.04 billion in the first semester of 2017.
