JAKARTA, July 9, 2023 – Jakarta Garden City, in partnership with IRACE Indonesia, successfully hosted a "Back to the 80s" themed Family Fun Run on Sunday, July 9, 2023. The event drew over 2,000 participants who kicked off the race at the Food Garden within the township. To accommodate a wider audience, the event was also held virtually, attracting runners from across Indonesia.

IRACE Indonesia, renowned for its creative race concepts and unique medal designs, once again delivered a memorable experience. This time, the 80s-themed fun run featured eye-catching medals designed as illuminated radios, perfectly capturing the era’s nostalgic charm.
The race was divided into two categories: 3K and 5K. The top five finishers in the 5K category and ten participants with the best 80s costumes received special prizes. The race commenced at 6:00 AM, starting from the Food Garden.

Veddy Jonatan, the founder of IRACE Indonesia, expressed his delight at the event’s success. “The 'Back to the 80s' Family Fun Run at Jakarta Garden City was truly amazing. Both in-person and virtual participants showed great enthusiasm and energy," he said. "Given the township's suitability for such events, we hope to organize similar activities in the future."
